Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And, if you’re vacationing in Las Vegas, you may need a recovery breakfast after a night out! Whether you’re looking for something healthy or decadent, there’s no shortage of amazing and delicious breakfast options around the city. Here are some of our picks for the best places to get your morning meal in Las Vegas – all at an affordable price.

We’re kicking these recommendations off on a sweet note. Duck Donuts was founded in the Outer Banks of Duck, North Carolina, but can now be found at locations across the U.S, including the Las Vegas strip (in the Grand Bazaar shops or Horseshoe Resort). Duck Donuts make their decadent donuts fresh, right in front of you, and for just over $4.00, you can customize your donut by picking the glaze, toppings and drizzles. For $6.95 you can order sausage and egg donut sandwich topped with bacon and a maple drizzle.  Custom coffees and espressos make this donut shop a one-stop breakfast shop.  [Bonus tip:  for $6.95 you can get a customizable donut sundae off their secret menu – try the blueberry pancake!].

For the egg lovers out there, you don’t want to miss the raciest breakfast in Vegas, Eggslut at the Cosmopolitan.  Get the strip experience started off right with one of Eggslut’s gourmet egg sandwiches ordered from their convenient counter-service at an average price of $7.00 a sandwich.  These eggs are cage-free and can be enjoyed in a simple bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, or in the decadent wagyu tri-tip steak sandwich. Someone in the group not like eggs? No problem, they have a house-made buttermilk biscuit that is as sinful as the city!

Looking for more of a traditional sit-down dining experience? Skip the hotel-casino breakfast restaurants and opt for a blast from the past – the iconic and award-winning Peppermill.  Opened in 1972 and located on the north end of the strip (a short walk from the Wynn), this 24-hour restaurant and lounge covered in pink and blue neon lights, red couches and indoor trees, is a common sight in countless movies and TV show.   Famous for its delicious and generous portioned dishes – and well worth the price – locals and vacationers rave about the Western Fruit Plate, nearly a dozen varieties of omelets, the pancake combo, and a Bloody Mary, made with the Peppermill’s own house mix.

No matter what type of breakfast you’re craving, Las Vegas has something for everyone. From budget-friendly eateries to classic diners and inventive twists on traditional dishes, there’s no shortage of delicious breakfast spots around the city. Vacation is a time to treat yourself, so head out and explore all that Las Vegas has to offer—your stomach will thank you!
